Evian Still Natural Mineral Water

Evian is a world-renowned brand of natural mineral water sourced from several peaks in the French Alps near Évian-les-Bains, on the south shore of Lake Geneva. The water is filtered through glacial sands for over 15 years, which gives it a unique mineral composition. It was first discovered by a French nobleman, the Marquis de Lessert, in 1789, and was later bottled for commercial sale.

The brand is currently owned by Danone, a French multinational food-products corporation. All Evian water is bottled at the source in the Cachat Spring area in France to ensure its purity and mineral content. As a flagship brand within Danone’s Waters division, Evian has become a global household name, distributed in over 140 countries and recognized for its B Corp certification, reflecting its commitment to social and environmental performance.
