Neuburger is a premium Austrian meat product, often compared to Leberkäse but distinct in its recipe and production process. It was invented in 1948 by Hermann Neuburger in Ulrichsberg, Upper Austria. Unlike typical sausages or meat loafs, the Neuburger is strictly made from 2/3 beef and 1/3 pork, then baked in a special oven process.
The product is exclusively manufactured at the original family facility in Ulrichsberg, Austria. To this day, the brand remains family-owned and operated by the Neuburger family (Neuburger GmbH & Co. OG), maintaining its commitment to regional production and quality standards, evidenced by the AMA seal of quality visible on the packaging.
