Schwartau Extra Raspberry Jam

Schwartau Extra Raspberry is a premium fruit preserve produced by Schwartauer Werke, a traditional German company established in 1899. The brand is deeply rooted in its hometown of Bad Schwartau, Schleswig-Holstein, where the manufacturing facilities are still located today. Known for its high fruit content and iconic X-shaped glass jar introduced in the late 1960s, the product remains a household staple in Germany and several European markets.

While the brand holds a rich German heritage and is synonymous with local craftsmanship, it is currently part of the internationally active Hero Group. This transition occurred in 2002 when Schwartauer Werke was integrated into the Swiss-headquartered Hero AG. Interestingly, the long-time owner and former management leader, Dr. Arend Oetker, remains a majority shareholder in the Hero Group, maintaining a strong family link to the brand's German origins.
