The manufacturing continues to take place primarily in Almelo and Heerde, maintaining its heritage as a Dutch-made product.

While Bolletje was acquired by the German Borggreve Group in 2013, it continues to operate with a strong focus on its original Dutch identity. The brand remains the market leader in the rusk category in the Netherlands, known for its iconic 'Bolletje baker' logo and its distinctive red, white, and blue packaging.
