Ybarra is a prestigious Spanish food brand with a history dating back to 1842 when it was founded by Don José María de Ybarra in Seville. Originally focused on high-quality extra virgin olive oil, the company expanded into the mayonnaise and sauce market in 1968, becoming a household name in Spain and a pioneer in industrial mayonnaise production.

Today, the product is primarily manufactured in Spain at the company's ultra-modern production facility in Dos Hermanas, Seville, which was inaugurated in 2018 to replace an older site. The brand is currently managed by Grupo Ybarra Alimentación, a joint venture formed between the founding Ybarra family and MIGASA (Miguel Gallego S.A.), one of the world's leading companies in the edible oil sector. This partnership ensures that the brand maintains its traditional Mediterranean roots while reaching global markets across more than 80 countries.
