Thise Mejeri was founded in 1988 by a small group of visionary organic farmers who sought independence from large-scale industrial dairies to focus exclusively on high-quality organic production.

Today, the brand remains a cooperative owned by approximately 70 organic dairy farmers, maintaining its commitment to sustainability and local heritage.
