Known for its historical marketing as the 'Champagne of table waters,' Perrier has maintained its production at this single geographical site for over 160 years.

The brand was popularized in the late 19th century by Dr. Louis Perrier and later by St. John Harmsworth. In 1992, the brand was acquired by the Swiss multinational Nestlé, becoming part of its Nestlé Waters division. While Nestlé recently announced plans to potentially sell its water division as part of a strategic refocus, it remains the ultimate owner as of the current period.
