The Forclaz HL 100 USB is a rechargeable headlamp designed for trekking and outdoor activities. It is a signature product of Forclaz, which serves as the specialized trekking brand for the French sporting goods giant, Decathlon.

Originally, the brand's products were developed under the Quechua label, born at the foot of Mont Blanc in France in 1997. In 2016, Decathlon decided to split its mountain sports offerings, establishing Forclaz as a standalone brand dedicated specifically to trekking and bivouacking equipment.

While the design and engineering of the product take place at Decathlon's 'Mountain Store' headquarters in Sallanches, France, the actual manufacturing is primarily outsourced to specialized electronic and textile factories in China and other global production hubs. The brand is ultimately owned by the Decathlon Group, one of the world's largest sporting goods retailers, controlled by the Mulliez and Leclercq families.
