Grisbì is a premium line of Italian shortbread biscuits filled with various creams, with the chocolate version being one of the most iconic. The brand was originally launched in 1984 by the Italian food conglomerate Parmalat. However, following the collapse and restructuring of Parmalat in the early 2000s, the brand was acquired in December 2005 by the Vicenzi Group, a historic Italian confectionery company founded by Matilde Vicenzi in 1905.
Today, the product is primarily manufactured in Italy, specifically at the Vicenzi Group's main production facility in San Giovanni Lupatoto, near Verona. The brand has expanded globally and is now available in over 80 countries, maintaining its reputation as a symbol of fine Italian pastry tradition. The ultimate owner remains the Vicenzi Group, which is still headquartered in Italy and led by the Vicenzi family, ensuring that the brand preserves its authentic Italian heritage and quality standards.
