AsdoMar is a premium Italian brand known for its commitment to quality and sustainability in the canned seafood sector. The brand is particularly distinguished by its 'whole trunk' (trancio intero) processing, which occurs entirely in Italy. Since 2008, the company has centralized its tuna production at a state-of-the-art facility in Olbia, Sardinia. This plant is considered one of the most modern in Europe, where whole tuna are received and processed by hand following traditional craftsmanship combined with modern technological standards.

The brand is owned by Generale Conserve S.p.A., an Italian company founded in the late 1980s. Originally a distribution firm, it transformed into a major production and marketing entity, becoming the second-largest producer in the Italian canned fish market. AsdoMar was a pioneer in sustainability, being the first Italian brand to obtain the Friend of the Sea certification. The company emphasizes environmental responsibility by using 100% renewable energy at its production sites and ensuring full traceability of its raw materials.
