Milka is one of Europe's most iconic chocolate brands, recognized worldwide by its distinctive lilac packaging and the 'Milka Cow.' The product shown is the MMMAX variant, a larger format bar featuring the 'Choco-Swing' flavor which combines smooth Alpine milk chocolate with a crunchy LU biscuit layer and creamy fillings.

Originally founded in Switzerland in 1901 by the chocolatier Philippe Suchard, the brand's name is a portmanteau of its primary ingredients: Milch (milk) and Kakao (cocoa). Although it has Swiss roots, the brand became deeply associated with Germany shortly after its introduction when production was established in Lörrach. Today, while it is sold globally, a significant portion of Milka's production still takes place in Germany, with other facilities located across Europe in countries like Austria and Poland.

Since 2012, Milka has been owned by the American multinational Mondelēz International, following the spin-off of Kraft Foods Inc. Mondelēz continues to manage the brand as a key part of its global snack and confectionery portfolio, maintaining the tradition of using 100% Alpine milk in its chocolate recipe.
