Nestlé Lion Cereals Karamell und Schokolade

Lion Cereal is a popular breakfast product inspired by the Lion chocolate bar, which was originally launched by the British company Rowntree's in 1976. The cereal version was introduced by Nestlé in 2002 to capture the unique taste profile of caramel, chocolate, and wafer in a breakfast format.

While the brand's heritage is rooted in the United Kingdom through Rowntree's, the production of Lion-branded products moved significantly after Nestlé acquired Rowntree's in 1988. Today, much of the Lion Cereal distributed in Europe is manufactured in France (notably in Rumilly or Dijon factories) or through Cereal Partners Worldwide, a joint venture between Nestlé and General Mills. The brand is now a staple of the global Nestlé portfolio, managed from their headquarters in Switzerland.
