Frixen soft drink

Frixen is a unique alternative in the carbonated soft drink market, positioned as an ethical and social transformation brand. Born in 2012 in Zaragoza, Spain, the project was initiated by the members of the Birosta vegetarian restaurant cooperative. Their goal was to create a local, fair-trade alternative to mainstream multinational cola brands.

Produced in the Aragon region of Spain, Frixen utilizes spring water from Jaraba and agro-ecological fair-trade sugar. The brand operates as a cooperative venture, emphasizing social economy values over profit maximization. It has since expanded its lineup from the original cola to include lemon, orange, and tonic flavors, maintaining a strong focus on vegan-friendly and gluten-free ingredients while supporting local distribution networks.
