West Silver cigarettes

Initially launched as a challenger to established American brands with the famous 'Test the West' marketing campaign, it quickly rose to become one of the most popular cigarette brands in Germany and throughout Europe.

In 2002, the brand's original producer, Reemtsma, was acquired by the British multinational tobacco giant Imperial Brands (formerly Imperial Tobacco). Today, West remains a key international brand within the Imperial Brands portfolio.
