HuskeeCup reusable coffee cup

HuskeeCup is an innovative reusable coffee cup designed by the Australian-based company Huskee. The brand was founded in 2017 by Saxon Wright, who was inspired by the massive amounts of organic waste produced during coffee milling. The cups are famously made using coffee husk, a byproduct of the coffee production process, which is combined with a biopolymer to create a durable, heat-retentive, and BPA-free material.

While the brand originated in Australia and maintains its design and headquarters there, the products are manufactured in China. This location was chosen specifically because of its proximity to the coffee-growing regions in Yunnan, China, where the raw coffee husks are sourced, thereby reducing the carbon footprint associated with transporting raw materials. In April 2024, Huskee was acquired by BioPak, a leading Australian sustainable packaging company, which is itself part of the global Duni Group.
