Originally launched by KF (Coop Sweden) in 1991, the brand was expanded into Denmark and Norway in 2006 to provide a unified sustainability label across the Coop Norden network.

The specific product shown is manufactured in Denmark by Thise Mejeri A.m.b.A., a renowned organic dairy cooperative based in Roslev. Thise Mejeri was founded in 1988 by a group of organic pioneers and has since become one of Denmark's largest organic dairy producers. While Thise produces the milk, the Änglamark brand itself is owned by Coop, and in Denmark, it is managed by Coop Danmark A/S. This collaboration allows Coop to offer high-quality, locally produced organic dairy under its own trusted sustainability banner.
