Triumph is one of the world's leading lingerie manufacturers, with a heritage dating back to 1886. Founded by Johann Gottfried Spiesshofer and Michael Braun in a small barn in Heubach, Germany, the company began as a modest corset factory. Over the decades, it evolved from a local German workshop into a global powerhouse, moving its headquarters to Switzerland in the 1970s to better manage its international operations.
Today, Triumph products are manufactured across a global network of production sites to meet international demand. The company operates factories in various regions including Austria, Portugal, Morocco, Vietnam, Thailand, India, and China. This decentralized manufacturing approach allows the brand to maintain high quality and technical craft while serving markets in over 120 countries.
The brand remains a family-owned enterprise, controlled by the descendants of the founding Spiesshofer and Braun families. While it was once partially traded on the German stock exchange, it was taken private in 2011. The ultimate owner, Triumph International Ltd. (or Triumph Intertrade AG), is headquartered in Bad Zurzach, Switzerland, overseeing a portfolio that includes other well-known brands like sloggi and AMO'S Style.
