In 1997, the brand was acquired by the French cosmetics and wellness giant, Groupe Rocher. While the brand has deep American roots, its production is currently localized across its primary markets to ensure efficiency; home care products are manufactured in Europe, while specific regional production also occurs in Mexico. As of early 2026, the brand is in a transitional phase as Groupe Rocher announced strategic plans to divest its home maintenance division, including Stanhome, to focus on its core beauty and skincare sectors.
