G-mjólk is a prominent brand of Ultra-High Temperature (UHT) treated milk produced by Mjólkursamsalan (MS), the largest dairy company in Iceland. The 'G' in the name stands for 'geisluð' (referring to the heat treatment), distinguishing it as long-life milk that can be stored at room temperature until opened. This specific product is their whole milk variant with a 3.9% fat content, commonly used in coffee and for daily consumption across Iceland.

The brand is deeply rooted in Icelandic agricultural tradition. MS (Mjólkursamsalan) is a cooperative owned by over 500 dairy farmers through the parent organizations Auðhumla and Kaupfélag Skagfirðinga. Because the cooperative collects and processes milk from local farms across the country, the product is entirely manufactured in Iceland using local resources. MS has been a cornerstone of the Icelandic food industry since its founding in 1927, maintaining a near-monopoly on the domestic dairy market while also expanding internationally with products like Skyr.
