Duyvis nuts and snacks

Duyvis is a historic Dutch brand that has become a household name in the Netherlands, particularly known for its extensive range of peanuts, mixed nuts, and dry dip mixes like 'Dipsaus'. The company traces its origins back to 1806 when Teunis Duyvis inherited an oil mill in Koog aan de Zaan. For generations, the Duyvis family expanded the business from cattle feed and oil pressing into the consumer food market, officially launching the Duyvis brand name for snacks in the mid-20th century.

Today, Duyvis is a key part of the global snack portfolio of PepsiCo. After being acquired from the AkzoNobel group (formerly part of the Centrale Suiker Maatschappij) in the late 1980s, the brand was integrated into the Frito-Lay division. While it maintains its strong Dutch heritage and primary production facilities in the Netherlands—most notably in Zaandam—its ownership is firmly rooted in the United States through its parent company, PepsiCo. The brand continues to lead the Dutch nut market with its iconic 'Fuif' (party) marketing campaigns and innovative snack offerings.
