DulcoSoft gentle laxative

DulcoSoft is a medical device used for the symptomatic treatment of constipation and to soften hard stools. It is part of the established Dulco brand family, which has been a trusted name in digestive health for decades. The brand was originally created by the German pharmaceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim.

In 2017, the brand became part of the Sanofi Consumer Healthcare portfolio following a strategic asset swap between Boehringer Ingelheim and Sanofi. Sanofi, a French global healthcare leader, oversees the manufacturing and global distribution of DulcoSoft. While the brand has its roots in Germany, where much of its production continues, it is distributed and marketed globally through Sanofi's extensive network of subsidiaries.
