Cloetta Kexchoklad

Cloetta Kexchoklad is a classic Swedish chocolate-covered wafer bar that has become a staple in the Nordic confectionery market. Originally launched in 1921 under the name 'Five O’Clock', it was rebranded as Kexchoklad in 1938 and has since grown into one of Sweden's most recognizable food brands. The product consists of several layers of crispy wafer filled with a chocolate-flavored cream, all coated in a light milk chocolate.

The brand is owned by the Swedish company Cloetta AB, which has a long heritage dating back to 1862. While the product has strong historical ties to Sweden and is primarily manufactured there (most notably at the Ljungsbro facility), Cloetta operates a modern supply network across several European countries to serve its international markets, including Finland, Norway, and the UK. The brand is managed by Cloetta Suomi Oy within the Finnish market but is ultimately governed by the parent company in Stockholm.
