Terea is a brand of heated tobacco sticks specifically designed for use with the IQOS ILUMA induction heating system. Unlike traditional cigarettes, these sticks are designed to be heated rather than burned, releasing a nicotine-containing aerosol. The Amber variant is known for its balanced tobacco blend with woody notes.
The Terea brand was developed by Philip Morris International (PMI) as part of their 'Smoke-Free' vision. While the company is headquartered in the United States and Switzerland, these tobacco sticks are manufactured in several state-of-the-art facilities globally, including major production hubs in Italy (Bologna), Switzerland, and across Asia to supply international markets including Denmark.
Philip Morris International is the ultimate owner of the technology. In Denmark, the products are distributed via the local subsidiary, Philip Morris ApS, which manages the commercial presence and compliance with local tobacco regulations.
