Maxidex

The brand was originally developed by Alcon, which was established in 1945 in Fort Worth, Texas. For several decades, Alcon operated as a subsidiary of the Swiss food and beverage giant Nestle, before being incrementally acquired by Novartis between 2008 and 2011. In 2019, Novartis spun off Alcon as a standalone, independent publicly traded company.
