Duo Penotti is an iconic Dutch brand established in 1979 in the Netherlands. It became world-famous for its unique two-tone striped hazelnut and vanilla spread. The name 'Penotti' is a combination of the Italian word 'pe' (from ‘nocciole’ meaning hazelnut) and 'notti' (denoting night, or the dark chocolate part).

While the brand was originally created by the Peeters family through their company Peeters Producten, it has grown significantly over the decades. As of 2024, the brand continues to be manufactured primarily in the Netherlands. In 2020, the brand was acquired by the Dutch investment group Standard Investment, which aims to further internationalize of this classic European breakfast and snack staple.
