Kalaspuffar is an iconic Swedish breakfast cereal consisting of puffed wheat sweetened with honey. Originally launched in 1946 by Erik Berggren at the company Gyllenhammars, it became famous for its bear mascot, 'Puff'.
Today, the brand is owned by Quaker Oats, which in turn is a subsidiary of PepsiCo. While the brand has deep Swedish roots and was traditionally produced in Sweden, the manufacturing for the Nordic market has transitioned to Germany. The ownership remains under the American multinational PepsiCo, which manages a vast portfolio of food and beverage brands globally.
