Caffè Borbone is one of Italy's most prominent coffee brands, heavily associated with the Neapolitan espresso tradition. Founded in 1997 in Naples, the brand pays homage to the House of Bourbon, reflecting the historical coffee culture of the Kingdom of Naples. The brand has grown rapidly to become a leader in the compostable pod and capsule market, emphasizing both quality and sustainability.

Today, the brand is majority-owned by Italmobiliare, an Italian investment holding company that acquired a controlling stake in 2018. While Massimo Renda, the original founder, remains involved in the company's management and retains a minority share, the brand's strategic direction is guided by its parent corporation based in Milan. All production remains centralized in Italy, primarily at the company's large roasting facility in Caivano (Naples), ensuring the authentic Italian heritage is preserved in every product.
