7UP (Seven Up) soft drink

7UP is an iconic lemon-lime flavored soft drink originally created by Charles Leiper Grigg in 1929 through the Howdy Corporation in St. Louis, Missouri. Originally named 'Bib-Label Lithiated Lemon-Lime Soda,' it was eventually rebranded to the shorter '7UP' and became one of the most recognized soda brands globally.

The global ownership of 7UP is unique compared to other soft drinks. Within the United States, the brand is owned and manufactured by Keurig Dr Pepper. However, for the international market outside of the United States, the brand and distribution rights are held by PepsiCo. Therefore, depending on where the bottle is purchased, the ultimate parent company varies.

Manufacturing takes place in numerous facilities worldwide to serve regional markets efficiently.
