Mitchum deodorant

Mitchum is a long-standing personal care brand primarily known for its high-performance antiperspirants and deodorants. The brand's history dates back to 1913 in Paris, Tennessee, where it was originally part of the Paris Toilet Company (later the Golden Peacock Company). It gained significant recognition for its clinically effective formulas and the iconic marketing tagline, "So effective you can skip a day."

In 1970, the brand was acquired by Revlon, a major US-based global beauty company. Following Revlon's financial restructuring and emergence from Chapter 11 bankruptcy in early 2023, the brand remains under the ownership of the reorganized Revlon Group Holdings LLC.

Manufacturing of Mitchum products is distributed across various international locations to serve global markets. While much of the production for the North American market historically occurred in the United States and Mexico, items sold in Europe, South Africa, and the UK are often produced in regional facilities to streamline supply chains. In 2025 and 2026, the brand maintained its focus on dermatologically tested solutions, including its popular roll-on, gel, and solid stick formats.
