Flux fluoride mouthwash

Flux is a well-known Swedish brand specializing in dental health products, particularly fluoride-rich mouthwashes and toothpastes. Originally developed in Sweden in collaboration with dental professionals, the brand became a household name for caries prevention. For many years, it was part of the Swedish pharmaceutical company Actavis and later Meda AB.

In 2016, the American pharmaceutical giant Mylan acquired Meda AB, which included the Flux brand. Subsequently, Mylan merged with the Upjohn division of Pfizer to form Viatris. However, in a further shift of ownership toward the mid-2020s, the consumer healthcare division was spun off. Today, the brand is under the ownership of Karo Healthcare, a Swedish-headquartered company focused on everyday healthcare products. Manufacturing primarily takes place in Sweden to maintain its high-quality standards and local heritage.
