ColaCao is a highly recognizable Spanish brand of soluble cocoa. First launched in 1945 by the company Nutrexpa, it has become a cultural staple in Spanish households, often associated with breakfast and snacks. The product is famous for its unique 'grumitos' (small lumps of cocoa) that do not dissolve easily, which has become a hallmark of the original recipe.

Today, the brand is owned by Idilia Foods, a company formed following the division of the Nutrexpa group. While the company has expanded its product line to include varieties that dissolve instantly or have no added sugar, the 'Original' version shown in the image remains the flagship product. It is primarily manufactured in Spain, specifically at the Idilia Foods facility in Parets del Vallès, Barcelona.
