Beck's is a world-renowned German pilsner brand originally founded in 1873 in Bremen by Ludder Rutenberg, Heinrich Beck, and Thomas May. For over a century, the brewery remained an independent German entity, becoming famous for its distinctive green bottles and adherence to the Reinheitsgebot (German Purity Law). Today, Beck's is brewed according to those same traditions, ensuring a high-quality, crisp taste.

In 2002, the brewery was sold to Interbrew, which later merged to form what is now Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev). While its primary historical and largest production site remains in Bremen, Germany, the brand's global popularity means it is also brewed under license in several other countries to serve international markets. As of 2024 and beyond, Beck's remains a core international brand under the Belgian-based conglomerate AB InBev.
