Moser Roth is a premium chocolate brand with a long heritage dating back to 1841 in Stuttgart, Germany. Initially founded by Wilhelm Roth Jr., it eventually merged with the Moser company to become a leading German chocolatier brand. Following several ownership changes and the destruction of its original facilities during WWII, the brand was eventually acquired by the Storck Group.

Today, Moser Roth is primarily known as a private-label brand produced specifically for the ALDI supermarket chain. While the brand is owned and manufactured by the August Storck KG group, it maintains a positioning as a gourmet chocolate line. The products are manufactured in Germany, adhering to strict quality standards and often carrying Fairtrade certification for their cocoa sourcing.
