Trina soft drink

Trina is a well-known fruit juice-based soft drink that originated in Spain. It was created in 1934 by Dr. Agustín Trigo Mezquita in Valencia, originally under the name Trinaranjus. The brand gained massive popularity for its unique non-carbonated formula, setting it apart from other fruit-flavored sodas.

Over the decades, the brand's ownership has changed hands through several corporate acquisitions. In the late 20th century, it became part of the Cadbury Schweppes portfolio. Following the demerger and subsequent sales of Cadbury's beverage assets, the brand joined the Orangina Schweppes Group. Today, Trina is owned by Suntory Beverage & Food Limited, a major Japanese multinational company that acquired the Orangina Schweppes Group (now Schweppes International Limited) to expand its global reach in the soft drinks market.
