S.C. Johnson, often referred to as 'S. C. Johnson & Son, Inc.', is an American multi-national manufacturer of household cleaning supplies and other consumer chemicals. Founded in 1886 by Samuel Curtis Johnson Sr. in Racine, Wisconsin, the company began as a parquet flooring business before diversifying into floor wax and eventually a global portfolio of household goods.

Today, S.C. Johnson remains a private, family-led corporation, headed by the Johnson family. It operates manufacturing facilities in dozens of countries across North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa to serve local and international markets. The brand is recognized for household staples such as Windex, Pledge, Glade, and Raid.

As a privately held company, S.C. Johnson does not trade on public stock exchanges, allowing the firm to maintain its long-term family ownership structure. It is one of the oldest and largest family-owned companies in the United States, currently led by Fisk Johnson, representing the fifth generation of the family.
