Quirónsalud healthcare services

Quirónsalud is the leading hospital group in Spain, providing a wide range of medical specialties and healthcare services. Originally founded in Spain, the brand grew significantly through a series of mergers, most notably between IDCSalud and Grupo Quirón in 2014, making it the largest private healthcare provider in the country.

In early 2017, the group was acquired by the German healthcare giant Fresenius SE & Co. KGaA. This acquisition integrated Quirónsalud into the Fresenius Helios division, creating the largest private healthcare operator in Europe. While the parent company is headquartered in Germany, Quirónsalud continues to operate primarily in Spain and has expanded its presence into Latin America, maintaining its strong Spanish identity and local management structure.
