Grefusa is a prominent Spanish family-owned company specialized in the manufacturing of nuts and cereal-based snacks. Founded in 1929 by José Gregori Furió in Alzira, Valencia, the company originally focused on the storage and commercialization of agricultural products before evolving into a leader in the snack food industry. The brand name itself is a portmanteau derived from the founder's surnames, Gregori Furió (Grefusa).
Today, Grefusa operates production plants in Alzira, Spain, and Soure, Portugal (through its acquisition of Frutorra). The company is well-known for popular snack sub-brands such as Gublins, PapaDelta, Pipas G, MisterCorn, and El Piponazo. While it maintains a strategic alliance with the German Intersnack Group to bolster its international presence and nuts business, the Gregori family remains the heart of the company's management and ownership, steering it toward 2026 with a focus on nutritional quality and innovation under the leadership of the third generation.
