Sharp's Doom Bar Amber Ale

Doom Bar Amber Ale is the flagship product of Sharp's Brewery, which was founded in 1994 by Bill Sharp in Rock, Cornwall. The beer is named after the treacherous Doom Bar sandbank at the mouth of the Camel Estuary in North Cornwall. Since its inception, it has grown to become the best-selling cask ale in the United Kingdom.

While originally a small independent Cornish brewery, the brand underwent significant ownership changes in the early 21st century. In 2011, Sharp's Brewery was acquired by Molson Coors Beverage Company. Today, the brand remains deeply rooted in its Cornish identity, though production is handled across Molson Coors' extensive brewing network in the UK to meet high demand.
