Japanese Spitz dog

The Japanese Spitz is a small to medium-sized breed of dog known for its thick, white fur and fox-like appearance. The breed was developed in Japan throughout the 1920s and 1930s by crossbreeding various other Spitz-type breeds from around the world. It is recognized by many kennel clubs globally, although it is not considered a commercial 'product' in the traditional sense of brand ownership.

As a biological breed, there is no single 'ultimate owner' or company. However, the standards for the breed are maintained by major canine organizations such as the Japan Kennel Club and the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI). They represent a heritage of selective breeding aimed at creating a companion animal with a friendly and courageous temperament.
