Sanpellegrino Limonata is a premium Italian sparkling lemon beverage that traces its heritage back to the San Pellegrino Terme in the Italian Alps. The brand, famous for its mineral water since 1899, launched its range of sparkling fruit drinks (Aranciata) in 1932, with the Limonata variant follows shortly after to capture the authentic taste of Italian citrus. To this day, the product is primarily manufactured in Italy, staying true to its Mediterranean roots by using juice from harvested Italian fruits.
While the brand is deeply rooted in Italian tradition, its ownership has transitioned to a global scale. In 1997, Sanpellegrino S.p.A. was acquired by the Swiss multinational food and beverage giant Nestlé. Through this acquisition, Nestlé became the ultimate owner, integrating the brand into its Waters division. This partnership has allowed Sanpellegrino to maintain its status as a symbol of Italian style and quality while benefiting from Nestlé's extensive international distribution network.
