L'Héritier-Guyot Cassissée is a premium blackcurrant liqueur (Crème de Cassis) traditionally produced in Dijon, France. The brand carries a rich heritage dating back to 1845, when it was founded by Louis-Baptiste L'Héritier and his wife, Marguerite Guyot. It is renowned for its protected geographical indication (Cassis de Dijon), ensuring a high standard of quality and local production.
Today, the brand belongs to the French spirits group La Martiniquaise-Bardinet, which is currently the ultimate owner. While the brand is strictly French in production and identity, it remains popular in the German market, where it is imported and distributed exclusively by Borco-Marken-Import in Hamburg, as indicated on the label.
