Stuttgarter Hofbräu is a traditional German brewery with a history dating back to 1872 when it was founded in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg. Known for its deep roots in the Swabian region, it was historically a purveyor to the Royal Court of Württemberg. The brand's signature Pilsner is brewed according to the German Purity Law (Reinheitsgebot) to maintain its classic crisp and spicy flavor profile.

While maintaining its strong local identity in Stuttgart, the brewery is no longer an independent family business. It became part of the Radeberger Group in 2004, which is the largest private brewery group in Germany. The Radeberger Group itself is a subsidiary of the global conglomerate Dr. August Oetker KG (the Oetker Group), meaning the ultimate ownership lies with the Oetker family based in Bielefeld, Germany. The beer continues to be produced primarily at its historical site in Stuttgart to ensure regional authenticity.
