Wilhelmina Pepermunt is an iconic Dutch mint brand that has been a staple in the Netherlands since its creation in 1892. It was originally developed by the Fortuin confectionery company in Dokkum to commemorate the 12th birthday of Princess Wilhelmina, who later became Queen of the Netherlands. The mints are distinctive for their crown shape and the relief of Queen Wilhelmina's profile, a tradition that has earned the brand a Royal Warrant (Hofleverancier).

Today, the brand continues to be manufactured in Dokkum, Friesland, staying true to its regional roots. In terms of ownership, the brand and its parent company, Fortuin Dockum B.V., were acquired by the Dutch confectionery group Concorp in 2022. Concorp is a family-owned Dutch enterprise that manages several well-known candy brands, ensuring that Wilhelmina Pepermunt remains under Dutch ultimate ownership.
