The Motorola One Hyper is a mid-range smartphone known for its high-resolution pop-up selfie camera. The Motorola brand has a historic legacy in the telecommunications industry, originating in the United States. In 1928, it was founded as Galvin Manufacturing Corporation by Paul and Joseph Galvin in Chicago, Illinois. Over the decades, Motorola became a pioneer in mobile communication, famously producing the first handheld mobile phone.

Following a strategic split in 2011, Motorola Mobility (the mobile phone division) was initially acquired by Google and subsequently sold to Lenovo in 2014. Today, Motorola operates as a subsidiary of the Chinese multinational technology company Lenovo Group Limited.
