Läkerol is a well-known brand of sugar-free pastilles and throat lozenges that originated in Sweden. The brand was founded in 1909 by Adolf Ahlgren, an entrepreneur who discovered the product in Germany and brought it to the Swedish market. The distinctive 'A' on each pastille stands for Ahlgren.

Today, Läkerol is owned by Cloetta, a leading confectionery company in Northern Europe. While the brand has deep Swedish roots and the corporate headquarters remain in Sweden, the manufacturing of Läkerol pastilles has been centralized to Cloetta's modern production facilities in Levice, Slovakia, to serve its global markets across the Nordic countries, Europe, and Asia.
