It was first imported to Glasgow in 1838 by George Morton Ltd, and it became an iconic staple in the Scottish market. Today, the brand is owned by William Grant & Sons, a family-owned independent distiller that manages the blending, bottling, and global distribution of the product while maintaining the traditional distillation processes in Guyana.
