Patak's Naan Bread is a staple of the globally recognized Patak's brand, which specializes in Indian-style cuisine. The brand was founded in the late 1950s by Laxmishanker Pathak and his family in London, UK, after they immigrated from Kenya. What started as a small family business selling samosas and sweets from their kitchen eventually transformed into a major international supplier of curry pastes, sauces, and breads.

Today, the brand is owned by Associated British Foods (ABF), a multinational food processing and retailing company. While the heart of the brand remains rooted in traditional Indian recipes, the majority of its products, including the naan bread, are commercially manufactured in the United Kingdom to serve European and international markets. The ownership transition to ABF in 2007 allowed the brand to scale its distribution while maintaining its identity as a leader in home-cooked Indian flavors.
