Albo is one of Spain's most historic and prestigious canning companies, specializing in high-quality seafood products such as tuna, sardines, and albacore. Founded in the late 19th century in Santona, the company built a reputation for traditional preservation methods and premium ingredients, eventually moving its primary headquarters to Vigo, Galicia, which is the heart of the Spanish fishing industry.

While the brand maintains its Spanish heritage and operates several production facilities across Spain, its ownership transitioned in 2016. It was acquired by the Chinese industrial group Shanghai Kaichuang Marine International, a strategic move that integrated Albo into a global fishing and processing network while allowing the brand to maintain its distinct quality standards and European market presence.
