Sinalco is one of Europe's oldest and most iconic beverage brands, famously known for its yellow lemonade and its distinctive red dot logo. Founded in 1902 in Germany by Friedrich Eduard Bilz and Franz Hartmann, it was originally launched as 'Bilz-Brause' before being renamed Sinalco in 1905, derived from the Latin phrase 'sine alcohole' (without alcohol).
Today, the brand is managed globally from Germany. While the core syrup is developed centrally, the actual bottling and production of finished products like Sinalco Zero occur through a vast network of local franchisees and partners across Europe, the Middle East, and parts of Africa. This decentralized manufacturing model ensures that the product is often locally produced in the market where it is sold.
