Pavesini biscuits

Pavesini is a classic Italian biscuit brand, widely recognized for its lightweight, low-fat sponge cookies that are a staple in Italian households. Originally created in Novara, Italy, these biscuits were inspired by the traditional 'Biscotti di Novara' but were refined for a lighter texture and branded as Pavesini in 1948.

The brand was established by Mario Pavesi, who founded the Pavesi company. Over the decades, Pavesini became an iconic snack and a key ingredient in desserts like Tiramisu. In the early 1990s, the Pavesi company, along with the Pavesini brand, was fully acquired by the Barilla Group. Today, the product continues to be manufactured primarily in Italy, specifically at the Novara production plant, maintaining its heritage while being distributed globally by the Barilla Group.
